Stop 1 : Tokar – A Taste of Tuscany
Nestled in the heart of the Yarra Valley, Tokar Estate offers a relaxing and welcoming wine tasting experience surrounded by rolling vineyards and stunning scenery.
What You Can Expect:
- A hosted tasting of Tokar’s premium wines, including elegant reds and crisp whites grown on the estate.
- A chance to learn about the winemaking process and the story behind this family-run vineyard.
- Time to take in the panoramic views from the tasting room or terrace—perfect for photos!
Good to Know:
- There is not much food available here, or on this tour – we advise eating prior to coming on tour. However, you can order a Cheese Platter here – see below
- Toilets are available at the cellar door.
- Non-alcoholic alternatives are available if you’d prefer not to drink.
- Staff are friendly and happy to answer questions about the wine, the region, or the property.
This is a chance to slow down and savour the Yarra Valley’s world-class wine scene—whether you’re a connoisseur or just curious!

Stop 2 : Payten & Jones -Urban Cool Meets Wine Craft
Step into the relaxed, retro-cool cellar door of Payten & Jones, where the wines are as bold and unique as the people who make them.
It’s a great stop to try something different and enjoy wine without the fuss.
What You Can Expect:
- A casual, seated wine tasting experience with a focus on minimal-intervention, small-batch wines.
- Learn about natural winemaking techniques and how they’re doing things differently in the Yarra Valley.
- The vibe is fun, creative, and a little quirky—just like the wines!
Good to Know:
- Staff are friendly, approachable, and happy to explain wines in simple terms.
- The space is indoors with seating, perfect for a break.
- Toilets are available on-site.
- If you are wanting to try the 4 Pillars Gin, this can most often be one AT Payten & Jones. However, if you wanted to head across the road to the Gin Distillery you can, however this will typically be in place of the wine tasting at Payten & Jones

Stop 3 : Soumah -A Taste of Northern Italy in the Yarra Valley
At Soumah (pronounced ‘so-mah’), you’ll enjoy elegant wines inspired by Northern Italy, all served in a peaceful valley setting with mountain views.
What You Can Expect:
- A guided tasting of Soumah’s cool-climate wines, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and unique Italian varietals like Nebbiolo or Savarro.
- Time to enjoy the vineyard views, and possibly spot a kangaroo or two grazing nearby!
- An option to browse the wine shop or just relax at the tasting bar.

- The setting is relaxed and quiet, great for guests who like a peaceful stop.
- Staff are helpful and happy to suggest wines based on your taste.
- Toilets and water available on-site.
