A Career in Tourism Awaits

At Local Way Tours, we’re more than just a tour company – we’re storytellers, hosts, and locals who love sharing the very best of our backyard. Tourism is one of the most rewarding industries to be part of: every day is different, you meet people from all over the world, and you get to create unforgettable memories.

Joining our crew means being part of an award-winning team. You’ll host small groups where you can truly connect with guests, enjoy flexible rostering across weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and benefit from training, mentoring, and clear career pathways into guiding, operations, and product development. You’ll also get the chance to experience paid familiarisation trips and cross-train across different regions.

Not Just Tour Guides…

Many people assume that being a Tour Guide is the only pathway within a tour company — but that couldn’t be further from the truth. While our guides are the most visible part of what we do, it takes a whole team behind the scenes to make every journey seamless. We also recruit for roles in administration, marketing, vehicle cleanliness and fleet upkeep, as well as business development. Every position plays a vital part in creating the premium experiences our guests enjoy.

Ready to Apply?

Whether you’re just starting out in your tourism career or looking to continue your exciting journey with us, we’d love to hear from you.
